Objective, Mission, Vision & Goals
OBJECTIVE
The primary objective of the Dobbyn Foundation is to raise and distribute money that will enable the children of East Africa to achieve a secondary education.
MISSION
Our mission is to make secondary education possible for children who would otherwise be marginalized from schooling due to repressive school fees.
VISION
The Dobbyn Foundation seeks to be a functional advocate committed to the principal that education is a fundamental human right. Access to secondary education should be indiscriminate of income, social class, or national origin. Our vision is to empower children by providing access to education by eliminating barriers, which prohibit learning for the individual and their community.
GOALS
-Provide financial assistance for educational purposes, in order to benefit children who would otherwise be unable to achieve a secondary education (equivalent middle and high school education).
-Serve as a functional advocate toward African countries in an effort to encourage governments to fully fund secondary education.
-Form lasting and meaningful liaisons with other education and international non-governmental organizations (NGO’s).
-Promote full transparency and efficiency, in order to have the largest possible impact for our scholars and donors.
